My website, with some earlier work

Destino

This is inspired on Dali's and Walt Disney's duo in making the animation Destino and of Disney's french studio in finishing it, its truly a masterpiece. I really like all that was put into it and how 2D still charms over the CG of today. I kept wondering how would it be to make it in 3D, since it came out in 2003.

See this piece here

Here is a work in progress of it.

Water Colors

I always liked using water colors but I never got into it, but since my friend Shao Wei a great artist at work introduced me to her watercolors and the work of the great masters, such as Cotman, Girtin, Turner, Homer, Sargent's work here showing his masterpiece of Venice and many others. I got myself emerged in it as of lately.

Venice, Italy Watercolor Sketch

Had an opportunity to go to Venice, is truly an unique place. I've heard bad things about it, but I feel like Venice is for the ones who can let time pass by, getting lost on its maze, talk to your friend, like Rio is a very turisty place, but if you can step in and out of the turist places and get lost you can see the real place.

Here is the original watercolor and original colors, like Sargent and many others were mesmerized by the colors of this city, the water the earthtones of the houses, the atmosphere here is different.

Here is a sketch with a little too much detail for its size to be used for water color.
